Tye House – Externals

We were approached by renown designer Stella Walsh (Pure Designs) to completely transform the internal and external finishes on this award winning seafront property – the receipient of a Sussex Heritage Trust Award in 2007.

After 10 years on the seafront in West Sussex the external timber was starting to show its age and the client wanted a bold new look inside and out for this prominent property.

The transformation after around 12 months of work was quite spectacular. Every single piece of timber, both inside and outside the property, refinished in a range of products suitable for the environment and the clients lifestyle.

All oak windows and doors stripped, dismantled, painted and reassembled. All internal oak doors and bespoke furniture painstakingly stripped of the original waxed finish and brought back to life in the latest contemporary shades. Oak balustrading removed and replaced with glass.
